Project Description

The construction of the Okerenkoko–Pepeama–Kokodiagbene Road with a spur to Teiteipor in Warri South-West Local Government Area by the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at providing a reliable transportation network that connects neighboring communities within the area. Total length of road, 18,170m, width 10.0m and pavement width, 6.5m. The scope of works for the 18,170m length of road includes site clearing, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, and sharp river sand filling; concrete works include construction of culverts of various sizes; pavement surfacing comprises a 150mm crushed stone base followed by a 200mm-thick concrete pavement.

This intervention will improve accessibility, reduce transportation challenges, and enhance the movement of people, goods, and services across the benefiting communities. It will also support economic activities such as fishing, trading, and local commerce, while contributing to the socio-economic development and integration of communities within the area.
