Project Description

The rehabilitation of the Bomadi/Gbaregolor Road is aimed at restoring it to a functional, motorable condition to improve accessibility within the Bomadi Local Government Area. The project involves scarification, removal of unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, provision of boulders along a stretch of 49m in addition to the crushed stone provision, because of the swampy nature of the terrain, grassing for abutment protection, crushed stone base, patching of potholes and rehabilitation of failed sections with binder course of 50mm thicknesss and overlay with wearing course of 40mm thicknesss.

The project is expected to enhance transportation, reduce travel time, and improve safety for commuters and residents. It will also support socio-economic activities by facilitating the movement of goods and services, thereby boosting local trade and development. Additionally, the rehabilitation works will contribute to employment generation and promote a more connected and accessible community.
