Project Description

The construction of internal roads in Ogulugha, Burutu Local Government Area, by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving transportation, accessibility, and connectivity within the community. The project 3,750m total length of road, 10m average clearance width and 7.3m average pavement width. The scope of works for the roads includes site clearing, demolition of non-functional drains and culverts, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp river sand filling; concrete works includes construction of various sizes of culverts and drains; pavement surfacing comprising of 150mm crushed stone base followed by two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt.

The project is expected to improve access to schools, healthcare centres, markets, and other social amenities while promoting economic growth and sustainable community development. It will also enhance the living conditions of residents and contribute to infrastructural development in Ogulugha Community.
