Project Description

The rehabilitation and asphalt overlay of Okuotomewo/Oviri Court/Adeje Road in Okpe Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at restoring and upgrading the road network to improve accessibility, safety, and mobility for residents and businesses. The project includes 9,273km length and 7.3m width.
The scope of work includes site clearance, scarification, removal of unsuitable materials, sharp river sand fill, concrete works comprising of concrete drains, access slabs and pavement surfacing consisting of crushed stone-base and two layers of hot rolled asphalt (HRA) as well as thermoplastic road marking.
The project will enhance road durability, reduce vehicle operating costs, improve access to residential, commercial, educational, and healthcare facilities, stimulate local economic activities, increase property values, and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development and improved living standards in Okpe Local Government Area.
