The Flood and Erosion Control Measures at Dennis Osadebey Way from Traffic Light to Abraka Junction by Benin–Onitsha Express Way, Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area, is designed to address persistent flooding and soil erosion challenges affecting the roadway and surrounding communities. The project involves the construction and rehabilitation of drainage channels, culverts, embankments, and erosion protection structures to ensure proper stormwater management and prevent further deterioration of the road infrastructure. These interventions aim to enhance the durability and safety of this major transportation corridor.

Furthermore, the project seeks to safeguard lives, properties, and commercial activities within the area by minimizing disruptions caused by seasonal flooding.
