Project Description

The construction of Beatrice Nwayidindu Street, with a spur to Alero Estate Road and S.A. Edafienene Close off Sir Ogagifo Street in Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area, is a strategic infrastructure project aimed at improving urban connectivity and accessibility in the area. The project is being executed by His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, Executive Governor of Delta State, as part of efforts to advance sustainable urban development and improve the quality of life of residents.
The scope of work for the 460m length of road, 275m drain, 17m culvert, 10m average width and 7.3 pavement width includes site clearing, earthworks, road pavement construction, drainage installation, culvert works, asphalt surfacing, construction of road shoulders, and installation of road safety features where necessary.

Upon completion, the road will also promote economic activity by easing the movement of people and goods, improving access to residential and commercial areas, and contributing to safer, more durable road infrastructure.
