RECONSTRUCTION AND CONSTRUCTION OF OPETE ROAD FROM DSC EXPRESSWAY BY PLANTATION CITY TO OPETE WATERSIDE, UDU LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA
Project Description
The scope of works for the road includes site clearance, scarification of existing failed sections, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, crushed stone base, culverts, demolition of existing drains and construction of concrete drains, access slabs and pavement surfacing consisting of 50mm thickness binder course on failed and new construction and overlay of the entire carriageway with 40mm wearing course as well as thermoplastic road markings.
The project will facilitate the efficient movement of residents, businesses, commuters, and goods and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development and improved quality of life in Udu Local Government Area.
