Project Description

The project entails the construction of the Uruagbesa Owa-Abraka Road (Phase I) located off the Sapele–Abraka Road in Ethiope East Local Government Area. It is designed to provide a durable and motorable roadway that will significantly improve transportation within the community and its surrounding areas. The scope of work for the 2000m length of road includes site clearance and earthworks, culvert, kerbs, crushed stone base layer and pavement (7.3m width) works consisting of two layers of Hot-Rolled Asphalt surfacing (binder and wearing courses) and road marking.

Upon completion, the road will enhance accessibility for residents, businesses, and commuters, reducing travel time and vehicle operating costs. It will also stimulate socio-economic development by improving the movement of goods and services, encouraging investment, and linking communities more effectively to major road networks. Overall, the project will contribute to regional development and improved quality of life for the people in the area.
