Project Description

The construction of Ope Street with a spur to Omene Street in Warri South Local Government Area, under the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving the road network and accessibility within the community. The road includes 205m length of Ope street, 135m length of spur, 340m length of road, 680m length of road, 10m average clearance width and 7.3m average pavement width. The scope includes earthworks comprising the removal of unsuitable materials, filling with sharp sand and laying of stone base; concrete works comprising concrete drain, culverts and slabs. It also involves asphalt works of two layers of Hot Roll Asphalt comprising binder course and wearing course.


This intervention will improve the general road network within the area and serve as alternate route to other part of the city and further enhance the socio-economic well-being of people living in the area.
