Project Description

The rehabilitation and asphalt overlay of Oporoza township roads in Warri South-West Local Government Area, under the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving the condition of the township road network and enhancing transportation within the community. The project includes 2,800m length and 7.4m pavement width. The scope of work constitutes concrete works including construction of failed concrete culverts and maintenance/reconstruction of failed drains; pavement surfacing comprising of asphalt regulation, 40mm asphalt overlay and thermoplastic road marking.

The project will improve accessibility, ease the movement of people and goods, and reduce transportation difficulties within Oporoza and adjoining communities. It will also promote economic and social activities, improve road safety, enhance environmental sanitation through proper drainage systems, and contribute to the socio-economic development of Warri South-West Local Government Area.
