Project Description

The project involves the rehabilitation of Arho Road located near the Heroes of Faith Church in Ughelli North Local Government Area. The scope of the 1,327m length, 150m x 7.3m concrete pavement, 7.3m pavement width includes scarification of failed existing asphalt, removal of unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, crushing stone base, concrete drain, culverts, access slabs, concrete rigid pavement at two sections, and asphalt pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of asphalt. The aim is to restore the road to a safe, durable, and motorable condition for both vehicular and pedestrian use.

Upon completion, the rehabilitated road will improve accessibility within the area, reduce travel time, and enhance safety for residents and commuters. It will also support economic activities by facilitating easier movement of goods and services, particularly for businesses operating around the corridor. Overall, the project will contribute to improved infrastructure, better living conditions, and sustainable development in the community.
