Asphalt Overlay of High Court/Nuel Ojei Road and Construction of an Access Road from Nuel Ojei Road to Sait Paul's Catolic Church Cathedral, Issele-Uku, Aniocha North Local Government Area

Project Description

The project involves the asphalt overlay of High Court/Nuel Ojei Road and the construction of an access road linking Nuel Ojei Road to St. Paul’s Catholic Church Cathedral in Issele-Uku. Length of road 2,385m, Area of failed section 2,400m2, Area of Overlay 19,080m2 and length of drain for desiltation 2,300m. The scope of work for the 4,855m length road includes site clearance, scarification of failed bituminous surface, demolition, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, earth fill with laterite, desilting of existing discharge drains, concrete drains, culverts, access slabs, crushed stone base, pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of HRA (binder and wearing courses) and thermoplastinc road marking.

This intervention will improve road conditions, ensure smoother traffic flow, and enhance accessibility for residents and visitors. It will also support economic and social activities, contributing to overall development in Aniocha North Local Government Area.
