Project Description

The reconstruction of Egbeleku Junction Adeje to Warri–Sapele Road in Okpe Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving a key road link that enhances connectivity between communities and the Warri–Sapele transport corridor. The road has 1,198m length, 3 x 2m clearance width and 7.3m pavement width.
The scope of work includes site clearance, removal of unsuitable materials, sharp river sand fill, concrete works comprising of concrete drains, culverts, access slabs and pavement surfacing consisting of crushed stone base and two layers of hot rolled asphalt (HRA) as well as thermoplastic road marking.
The project will provide a safer and more durable road network, reduce vehicle operating costs, improve access to residential.
