Project Description

The construction of Otekpo Road in Ellu Town, Isoko North Local Government Area, under the administration of the Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori's initiative is aimed at providing a durable and accessible road network to improve transportation within the community. The scope of work for the 1,000m length of road includes the expansion of existing pavement width, earthworks comprising of removal of unsuitable materials, earth fill with sharp sand and laying of crushed stone base, concrete works involving the construction of concrete drains, culverts, kerbs and reinforced concrete acess slabs, pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking.

This intervention will enhance mobility, reduce travel time, and improve road safety for residents and commuters. It will also facilitate the movement of goods and services, boost local economic activities, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of Ellu Town and surrounding communities.
