CONSTRUCTION OF NEW 33KV DOUBLE CIRCUIT DELTA STATE BROADCASTING SERVICE COMPLEX AND GOVERNOR'S OFFICE ANNEX AT EDJEBA-WARRI IN WARRI SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The project entails the construction of a new 33 kV double-circuit electrical distribution system to provide dedicated, stable, and redundant power supply to the Delta State Broadcasting Service Complex and the Governor’s Office Annex located at Edjeba-Warri in Warri South Local Government Area. The scope includes installation of high-voltage feeders, switching and protection equipment, transformer interfaces, and associated civil works required to integrate the facilities into the regional power network. By ensuring uninterrupted electricity for broadcasting and administrative operations, the project addresses existing power reliability challenges that affect service delivery and government communication functions.

In addition to the electrical infrastructure, the development supports the operational expansion of the Delta State Broadcasting Service and the Governor’s Office Annex by creating a secure, modern, and energy-reliable environment for public information dissemination and state administrative activities. The project is expected to improve institutional efficiency, enhance emergency communication capability, and strengthen public access to timely government information across Delta State. During implementation, the works will generate employment opportunities and stimulate local supply chains, while the completed infrastructure will contribute to long-term socio-economic development and urban resilience in the Edjeba-Warri area.
