The project involves the procurement and installation of three Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) machines—specifically the Siemens Magnetom Flow 1.5 Tesla—for three major hospitals in Delta State: Asaba Specialist Hospital, Central Hospital Warri, and Delta State University Teaching Hospital Oghara. These machines are advanced diagnostic tools used for detailed imaging of internal body structures to support accurate medical diagnosis.

The installation of these MRI machines will significantly improve diagnostic capacity within the state’s healthcare system, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances for advanced medical imaging. It will also enhance the quality of healthcare delivery, support early detection of diseases, and improve overall patient outcomes across Delta State.
