Project Description

The Construction of Concrete Landing Jetty at Egologbene Community, by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in this and beyond, is aimed at improving water transportation infrastructure and enhancing safe movement for residents and commuters within the riverine community. The landing jetty involves a 12m length walkway, 3m width walkway, 56.7m2 area platform, 24 number piles and 150m length shore protection wall. The scope of work involves site clearance, piling works, steel reinforcement, concreting of piles, beams and slabs, steel handrails and jetty bollards.

This intervention is expected to improve connectivity, promote trade and local economic activities, and enhance the safety and convenience of water transportation for community residents. It also contributes to sustainable infrastructural development and improved living standards within the community and beyond.
