CONSTRUCTION OF BENIKRUKRU TOWNSHIP ROADS (PHASE II), WARRI SOUTH-WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

The construction of the Benikrukru Township Roads (Phase II) in Warri South-West Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at expanding and improving the township road network to enhance accessibility and socio-economic development within the community.
The scope of works for the 2,885m length of road includes site clearing, scarification of failed interlocking stones, removal of unsuitable materials, sharp river sand filling and stone base; concrete works comprising of 200mm thick concrete drains, access slabs, culverts; pavement surfacing comprising of 200mm thick concrete pavement, fixing of steel reinforcement, construction of expansion joints and sealing with bitumen.
The project will provide durable road infrastructure that facilitates the safe and efficient movement of residents, traders, and visitors, improves access to schools, healthcare facilities, markets, and other public amenities, reduces transportation costs, stimulates local commerce and investment and contributes to sustainable infrastructure development and improved quality of life in Warri South-West Local Government Area.
