Construction of Asuen Road, Owa Ekei in Ika North East Local Government Area.

Project Description

The project involves the construction of Asuen Road in Owa Ekei, aimed at improving accessibility and transportation within the community. Total length of road 1,325, Pavement Width 7.3m, Average Clearance Width 9m, Drain 750mm x 750mm x 150mm = 2650m. The scope of works for the 1,325m length of road includes site clearance, earthworks involving removal of topsoil, unsuitable material and filling with approved lateritic materials; concrete works comprising of drains, culverts and slabs; pavement surfacing consisting of crushed stone base, two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking.

This development will enhance connectivity, reduce travel time, and improve road safety. It will also promote economic activities and contribute to the overall development of Ika North East Local Government Area.
