Project Description

The completion of the Issele-Azagba/Otulu Road in Aniocha North Local Government Area, under the administration of His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, aimed at finalizing an important road project that connects key communities within the area. The scope of work for the 2,550m and the adjoining 150m failed section of Otulu Akwukwu-Igbo road includes site clearance, earthworks involving removal of topsoil and filling with approved lateritic materials, concrete works of drains and culverts, hard and soft shoulders with grassing, laying of crushed stone base and asphalt surfacing of binder and wearing courses, as well as thermoplastic road marking.

This intervention will significantly improve transportation and enhance safety for road users. It will also facilitate the movement of agricultural produce and other goods, boost local economic activities, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the benefiting communities.
