REHABILITATION AND RESURFACING OF PERIMETER ROADS AND PARKING LOTS WITHIN THE HON. COMMISSIONERS QUARTER, GOVERNMENT HOUSE ASABA IN OSHIMILI SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The Rehabilitation and Resurfacing of Perimeter Roads and Parking Lots Within the Hon. Commissioners' Quarter, Government House Asaba, in Oshimili South Local Government Area, by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, in this and beyond, is aimed at improving internal road infrastructure and enhancing accessibility within the Government House residential quarters. The scope of work for the 1,250m length of road, 1,753m2 total area of failed sections, 7,506m2 total area of parking lot, 8m pavement width and 120m length of drains consists of scarification of the existing failed bituminous surface, removal of unsuitable materials and filling with sharp sand; concrete works comprising of construction of concrete drains; pavement surfacing comprising crushed stone base course, two layers of asphalt and road markings.

This intervention is expected to strengthen transportation efficiency, reduce road deterioration, and improve the overall functionality and appearance of the Government House premises. It also contributes to sustainable infrastructural development and supports effective administrative operations within the state capital and beyond.
