Project Description

The project at Ovwian Waterside in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State entails the execution of approved civil engineering works aimed at improving infrastructural development and environmental management within the project area. The project is designed to address challenges related to access, drainage, erosion control, and general environmental stability in the waterside community, in line with the objectives of the Delta State Government.

The scope of works includes site clearance, earthworks, construction and rehabilitation of drainage and shoreline protection structures, and other associated works as specified in the approved drawings and contract documents. All works are being executed in accordance with relevant engineering standards, environmental regulations, and safety requirements as prescribed by the Delta State Ministry. Upon completion, the project is expected to enhance accessibility, reduce flooding and erosion risks, and improve the overall living and economic conditions of residents of Ovwian Waterside.
