Project Description

The construction of internal roads and drains in the Permanent Secretaries' Quarters along Cabinet Road, Asaba, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving road infrastructure, accessibility, and stormwater management within the residential estate. The road involves 570m total length, 6m average pavement width and 650m length of drain.
The scope of works for the 570m length of road includes earthworks comprising of site clearance, scarification, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, laterite filling; concrete works including drains, box culverts and access slabs; pavement surfacing works involving crushed stone base, a layer of Hot Rolled Asphalt and thermoplastic road marking.
The execution of the project will ease flooding problems experienced during the heavy rains and also give a facelift to the quarters as all roads will be properly interconnected.
