Project Description
The construction of the Amaka/Ogodogo/Ivu Access Road (Phase I) in Okpolo Enhwe, Isoko South Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving road infrastructure and enhancing accessibility within the community. The road includes 3,200m length, 15m clearance width, 7.3m pavement width (wearing course), 9.3m pavement width (binder course) and 1,794m length of drain.
The scop of work for the road includes site clearance and earthworks comprising of scarification, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp river sand fill, sand/cement stabilization, laying of crushed stone base course; concrete works comprising of drains, culverts, access slabs, pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking. The project will provide a durable access road that facilitates the efficient movement of residents, farmers, traders, and commuters, improves access to homes, schools, healthcare facilities, markets, and other essential services and improved quality of life in Isoko South Local Government Area.
