Project Description

The rehabilitation and asphalt overlay of Edukugho Street, off Iyara Road in Warri South Local Government Area, under the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at restoring the road to a durable and motorable condition. The 490m length of road with 7.3m pavement width, 980m length of drain and 170m failed asphalt sections, begins at Iyara road and terminates at Atse-Olu road. The scope of work for the 490m length of road includes earthworks comprising the removal of unsuitable materials, filling with sharp sand, and laying a stone base; and concrete works comprising concrete drains and slabs. It also involves asphalt works of one layer of Hot Roll Asphalt wearing course.

This intervention will enhance accessibility and improve road safety for residents and commuters. It will also facilitate the movement of goods and services and contribute to the overall socio-economic well-being of the residents.
