Project Description

The rehabilitation of Igbogidi Road, off Orhuwhorun, Udu Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving road infrastructure and accessibility within the area. The road includes 1,140m length, 12m formation width, 7.3m average pavement width, 2,280m lenght of drain and 600m length of discharge channel. The scope of work includes scarification, removal of unsuitable materials, sharpriver sand fill, concrete works comprising of concrte drains, culverts, access slabs and pavement surfacing consisting of crushed stone-base and two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) as well as thermoplastic road marking.
The project will rehabilitate the existing road, improve vehicular and pedestrian movement, facilitate easier access to residential and commercial areas, reduce transportation difficulties, and enhance connectivity within the community.
