Project Description

The construction of Ogbe-Ijoh Palace Road with spurs to the proposed King’s Jetty and CCMO Farm Road in Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West Local Government Area, by the Governor of Delta State, His Excellency Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving transportation, accessibility, and economic activities within the area. The project includes 1.30km total length, 10.0m clearance width and 7.3m pavement width. The scope of works for the road includes site clearing, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp river sand filling; concrete works involving construction of various sizes of culverts, drains, retaining wall and access slabs; pavement surfacing comprising of 150mm crushed base followed by 150mm thick reinforced concrete pavement.

The project is also expected to boost socio-economic development by improving access to riverine transportation, agricultural areas, markets, and other community services while enhancing the living standard of residents in Ogbe-Ijoh and surrounding communities.
