Project Description

The reconstruction of Ameachi Agusi Street and the adjoining streets in Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, the Executive Governor of Delta State, is aimed at rehabilitating and upgrading the road network within the area to improve accessibility and transportation. The total length include 1,775m, average pavement width 6m and a length of drain 1,150m. The scope of work for the project includes excavation and removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, laterite filling, concrete works comprising of concrete drains, culverts, slabs, retaining walls, as well as crushed stone base and asphalt pavement.

This intervention will improve traffic flow, reduce flooding and road deterioration, and enhance safety for residents and commuters. It will also support commercial activities, improve connectivity within the neighborhood, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the area.
