Project Description

The construction of Olu Palacce/Ugbori/Ekurede-Itsekiri Road and Orugboh Road, Warri South Local Government Area by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving the road network and enhancing accessibility between communities within the area. The scope of work for the 2,164m length of road includes scarification of failed sections, earthworks comprising the removal of unsuitable materials, filling with graded sharp sand, laying of stone base, concrete works involving construction of drains, culverts, cover slabs and kerb stones. It also includes bituminous works involving two layers of Hot Roll Asphalt, comprising a binder course for failed areas to be rehabilitated and constructed and a wearing course for the entire 2,164m length of road.

This intervention will ease transportation challenges and improve the movement of people and goods within the communities. It will also promote economic activities, improve road safety, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the benefiting areas.
