REPLACEMENT OF BURNT 2MVA 11/0.400KV DISTRIBUTION TRANSFORMER AT THE PROF CHIKE CHIKE EDOZIEN SECRETARIAT ASABA, OSHIMILI SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The project involves the removal of the burnt 2 MVA, 11/0.400 KV distribution transformer and the supply, installation, and commissioning of a new replacement unit at the Prof. Chike Chike Edozien Secretariat complex in Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government Area. The scope includes dismantling and safe disposal of the damaged transformer, installation of a new transformer on the existing plinth, replacement or upgrade of associated high- and low-voltage switchgear, cabling, protection systems, and earthing arrangements, as well as testing and energization to restore full electrical distribution capacity across the secretariat.

Upon completion, the new transformer will reinstate stable and adequate power supply to offices, administrative departments, and support services within the secretariat, thereby improving operational efficiency and continuity of government services. The intervention will reduce downtime, prevent further electrical failures, and enhance safety and reliability of the power distribution network serving the complex. Overall, the project strengthens institutional infrastructure and supports effective governance and service delivery in Asaba and Oshimili South Local Government Area.
