Project Description

The construction of internal roads at Ugbolu Hill Top Government Layout (Phase I), Ugbolu, in Oshimili North Local Government Area, by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at improving transportation infrastructure and accessibility within the government layout. The project includes 3,628m length and 10m width. The scope of work for the 3,628m length of road includes site clearance and earthworks comprising of removal of unsuitable materials, lateritic sand fill, laying of crushed stone base course; concrete works comprising of drains, access slabs, kerbs, box culverts, pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking.
The project will provide improved and durable internal roads, facilitate the movement of residents and goods, enhance access to residential areas and public facilities, reduce transportation difficulties, support socio-economic activities, and contribute to orderly urban development and improved living conditions in Oshimili North Local Government Area.
