Project Description

The reconstruction of a 5,000m dual carriageway on the Warri/Sapele/Benin Road, from the end of the U-Turn at the Spare Parts Market, Effurun to after Ohore Junction before Omenta Bridge, under the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at upgrading a major transportation corridor in the state. The project involves expanding the existing road into a dual carriageway, rehabilitating failed sections, constructing drainage systems, and improving road alignment to ensure durability and smooth traffic flow.

This intervention will significantly reduce traffic congestion, enhance road safety, and improve connectivity between key commercial and residential areas in Uvwie Local Government Area and Okpe Local Government Area. It will also facilitate the movement of goods and services, promote economic activities, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the region.
