Project Description

The reconstruction of General Hospital Road in Oghara is aimed at improving access to the healthcare facility and surrounding areas by upgrading the existing road infrastructure. The project involves 1.060m of road length, including earthworks comprising site clearance, scarification, removal of unsuitable materials, river sharp sand fill and laying of crushed stone base course, concrete works comprising of drains, single box culverts, pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of Hot Rolled Asphat (HRA) and thermoplasting road marking.

The project is expected to facilitate easier and quicker access to medical services, thereby improving healthcare delivery in the area. It will also reduce travel time, enhance safety for road users, and support economic activities within the community. Additionally, the reconstruction work will create employment opportunities and contribute to sustainable infrastructural development in Ethiope West Local Government Area.
