REHABILITATION AND ASPHALT OVERLAY OF OLD WELFARE ROAD, OFF LOWER EREJUWA ROAD IN WARRI SOUTH LGA.

The project titled Rehabilitation and Asphalt Overlay of Old Welfare Road, Off Lower Erejuwa Road in Warri South Local Government Area, Delta State involves the rehabilitation and upgrading of the existing roadway infrastructure within the project corridor. The objective of the project is to restore the structural integrity of the road, improve traffic flow, enhance safety, and support commercial and residential activities within the area in line with the infrastructural development agenda of the Delta State Government.

The scope of works includes scarification of failed pavement sections, necessary base and sub-base repairs, provision of asphaltic binder and wearing course overlay, construction or rehabilitation of drainage channels where required, and execution of other ancillary civil engineering works as contained in the approved contract documents and drawings. All works are being carried out in accordance with relevant engineering standards, quality control procedures, and Ministry specifications to ensure durability, safety, and long-term serviceability. Upon completion, the project is expected to significantly improve road usability, reduce maintenance costs, and enhance the overall environmental outlook of the area.
