INSTALLATION OF 1NO 500KVA, 33/0.400KV TRANSFORMER SUBSTATION AT NNS DELTA WARRI, WARRI SOUTH LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA

The project entails the supply, installation, and commissioning of one 500 KVA, 33/0.400 KV transformer substation at the Nigerian Navy Ship (NNS) Delta facility in Warri, Warri South Local Government Area. The scope includes construction of substation foundations, installation of the step-down transformer, high- and low-voltage switchgear, protection systems, earthing network, and interconnection with the existing 33 KV distribution feeder. The substation will convert medium-voltage power to low-voltage supply suitable for distribution across the base to support operational, administrative, and residential loads.

Upon completion, the new substation will provide stable and adequate electricity to NNS Delta, improving reliability of mission-critical equipment, communications systems, lighting, and support facilities within the naval base. The enhanced power infrastructure will reduce outages, support efficient operations, and strengthen security and institutional capacity. Overall, the project contributes to resilient public infrastructure and improved service delivery within Warri South while supporting broader socio-economic stability in the area.
