Project Description

The construction of Obi Ifeanyichukwu Road in Mbiri, Ika North-East Local Government Area by Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori's aimed at developing a reliable and durable road network to enhance accessibility within the community. The project includes the following: length of road 1,000m; length of drain 2,000m; discharge drain 250m; formation width 10m and pavement width 7.3m. The scope of works includes site clearance, earthworks involving removal of topsoil, unsuitable material and filling with approved lateritic materials; concrete works comprising drains, culverts and slabs; pavement surfacing consisting of crushed stone base, two layers of Hot Rolled Asphalt (HRA) and thermoplastic road marking.

This intervention will improve transportation and ease the movement of people and goods within the area. It will also promote economic activities, improve road safety, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of Mbiri and surrounding communities.
