Project Description

The rehabilitation of the first 5km of the Trans Warri Ode Itsekiri Bridge and access roads in Ubeji, Warri South Local Government Area by the Executive Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at restoring and improving the condition of the bridge corridor and adjoining access roads for safer and more efficient transportation. The scope of works for the 5,300 length road and 7.9m pavement width includes site clearance, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, crushed stone base, concrete works consisting of the construction of drains, culverts, access slabs, pavement surfacing consisting of binder and wearing courses.

This intervention will improve connectivity between communities, reduce transportation challenges, and enhance the movement of people, goods, and services. It will also support commercial activities, improve safety for commuters, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the benefiting communities within the area.
