Project Description
The scope of work for the 1,605m length of road includes earthworks comprising the removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, earthfill with suitable borrowed soil, and concrete works, including drains, pavement surfacing works involving a crushed stone base and two layers of hot-rolled asphalt.
The project will provide durable and safer road networks that facilitate the efficient movement of residents, traders, commuters, and goods, improve access to markets, places of worship, schools, healthcare facilities, and residential areas, stimulate commercial and socio-economic activities and contribute to sustainable infrastructure development and improved quality of life in Oshimili South Local Government Area.
