Project Description

The project entails constructing the Okpanam–Ugbolu Road in the Oshimili North Local Government Area, linking the communities of Okpanam and Ugbolu. The project includes 11,725.m in length, with a pavement width 8m. The scope of the 11,725.m length road includes site clearance, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, earth fill, crushed stone base, concrte drains, culverts, access slabs and pavement surfacing consisting of two layers of asphalt.

Upon completion, the road will enhance mobility, reduce travel time, and improve access to essential services such as markets, schools, and healthcare facilities. It will also support socio-economic development by facilitating the movement of goods and services, encouraging investment, and improving the overall standard of living within the communities. Ultimately, the project contributes to sustainable infrastructure development and regional growth.
