Project Description

The construction of Okowa Crescent, off Ughelli/Patani Expressway in Ughelli North Local Government Area, under the administration of Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, is aimed at developing a durable and well-structured road network to improve accessibility within the area. The scope of work for the 550m length, 10m average clearance width and 7m pavement width of the road consists of site clearance, removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, sharp sand fill, crushed stone bone; concrete works consisting of construction of drains, culverts, access slabs; pavement surfacing consisting of one layer of asphalt binder course with thermoplastic road markings.

This intervention will enhance transportation, reduce traffic congestion, and improve connectivity between residential and commercial areas. It will also facilitate the movement of goods and services, promote economic activities, and contribute to the overall socio-economic development of the community.
