COMPLETION OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF UNOGHOVO ROAD FROM BENIN EXPRESSWAY TO OVADE OGHARA, ETHIOPE WEST LOCAL GOVERNMENT AREA.

The completion of the construction of Unoghovo Road from the Benin Expressway to Ovade Oghara in Ethiope West Local Government Area is aimed at providing a durable and motorable access route that connects Ovade community to the major regional highway network. The project involves finishing outstanding earthworks, pavement construction, drainage installation, and road surfacing to transform the partially completed route into an all-weather road. This will address long-standing mobility challenges, especially during the rainy season when sections of the road become difficult or impassable.

Upon completion, the road will significantly improve transportation of people, goods, and agricultural produce between Ovade Oghara and adjoining towns, while enhancing access to markets, schools, healthcare facilities, and economic opportunities. The improved connectivity is expected to stimulate local commerce, reduce travel time and vehicle operating costs, and support socio-economic development in Ethiope West LGA. Ultimately, the project will provide a sustainable transport asset that strengthens rural-urban linkages and improves the quality of life for residents and road users.
