Project Description

The project entails the construction of Chris Abudei and Ogbueshi M. Onochie Streets in Asaba, located within Oshimili South Local Government Area. The road is 2,600m long. The scope of works for the 2,600m length of road includes earthworks comprising of removal of topsoil and unsuitable materials, earth-fill with suitable borrowed soil, concrete works including drains of different sizes, box culverts, reinforcement concrete kerbs, concrete manholes and access slabs, pavement surfacing work involving rushed stone base, two layers of hot rolled asphalt and thermoplastic road marking.

Upon completion, the streets will enhance ease of movement, reduce traffic challenges, and improve safety within the neighborhood. The improved infrastructure will also boost property values, encourage local business activities, and contribute to the socio-economic development of the area. Overall, the project supports sustainable urban development and improves the quality of life for residents.
